Architecture Work process
If you ever wonder how we work in delivering architecture work and what are the steps to have your dream villa built.
The first initial meeting is where we get to know each other and start talking more about you and your project vision. We will take into account the site location, beachfront or sea view land, maybe in town, the basic needs and space requirements ranging from number of rooms, the design direction modern, tropical and others. This is where you do the talking, we do the listening.
2.Proposal & Agreement
We will gather all the information and contact details needed, and will make you a proposal to let you know how we work, the timeline, along with our design fee. Once you have agreed, we can then start move forward on your design.
The concept design stage is where the company designer get to be creative. They will create the design according to the elements gather at the first meeting we will share with you to keep track of the right direction . Give us your feeling, idea and we will implement them in our design .
The construction drawings stage is the technical part of the job. We will provide the drawings for the legal permit submit ion and another set that can be used by the the contractor to build your dream villa or entire project.
Those will also include, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawing.
Once all our Construction Drawings are finished, we will share them to several contractors and compare them. We will be there for you to advise in choosing of which contractors to choose, depending on the material specs and your budget. After working for more than 15 years in this business in Thailand we have a short list of construction partners that we will present you. Neither the less if you have your own contractor this is fine for us.
6.Samui project management
Making sure that the plan and architecture plan are followed properly is not an easy task especially in a foreign country, maybe you are living overseas … We always want to deliver what we have put into design to reality. That’s why we usually cooperate with our contractors to visit the project during the important moments.The period is usually vary from once every 2 weeks or twice per week, depending on the project’s progress. Please not that this service of project management is not included in the original fee.
